The Avanti Schools present I’ll Be There – a magical performance based on legendary epic the Mahabharata.
This toe-tapping musical drama features a massed choir of 150 children and a troupe of child actors and dancers performing an exciting mix of repertoire including Pop, Bollywood, Choral and Gospel. Our primary and secondary school children will retell the ancient tale of love, treachery and battle using music, dance and mime.
The performance centres on Arjuna, one of the greatest heroes of Eastern literature, who has a moral crisis on the eve of war. He turns to his best friend Krishna (the god of love) who gives his advice in a song of love.
